Admissions for Fall 2020

Do you have a student currently in grade 8 who plans to attend HDCH in the Fall?  If you do and you have not yet applied on their behalf to HDCH, please do so as soon as possible. This is the time of year where we prepare for the Fall, both in terms of budget and classes.

Please apply online by following these four easy steps. As you set up your online application account please remember your user name and password and ensure you complete the grade 9-course selection in your Checklist.

As a current HDCH family, you are not required to pay a deposit. If you have any questions or concerns about the online application please connect with Kris Slootweg at kslootweg@hdch.org or call 905-648-6655, ext. 101.

LITERACY TEST ~ MARCH 31

The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test, which is a graduation requirement in Ontario, will be written on Tuesday, March 31. Grade 10 students and any grade 11 or 12 students who have not yet completed their Ontario Secondary School Literacy requirement will be writing the test. Our staff will be working to ensure that students are well-equipped to write.

Letters to the parents or guardians of all students who need to participate were mailed out two weeks ago. In the meantime, you can go to eqao.com to find out more. And contact Aline Koiter, akoiter@hdch.org, if you have specific questions regarding your child.

Summer Sport Camp for Sport Champs

We are excited to offer our summer basketball and volleyball camps. These past few years have been a great success and we hope to continue enjoying the experience of watching our youth grow in sport and character at our camps. Looking forward to seeing the players here!
