Pancake Breakfast ~ February 25
A team of 14 individuals from HDCH is preparing for a HANDS – Helping Another Nation Develop Schools mission trip to Nicaragua with EduDeo this March Break. These students have been focusing on ways to support this school community through fundraising. Our final team fundraiser is a school-wide Shrove Tuesday pancake breakfast. We are cordially inviting the entire school and community to come to join us for breakfast on Tuesday, February 25th from 8:30 – 9:15 AM at HDCH. As expressed by Aesop we are learning that “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted” as we continue to work towards our outreach goals for this EduDeo Mission Trip.
Blessings, Nicaraguan Mission Team.

Christian High Schools Drama Festival ~ February 28
Join us as a community of Christian high schools on Friday, February 28th at Redeemer University for the Christian Schools Drama Festival. Enjoy student-led performances from HDCH, Toronto District Christian High, Kings Christian Collegiate, and Smithville Chrisitan High. Admission is free with the show beginning at 6pm!
A cast and crew of Grade 9 & 10 students from HDCH have been hard at work preparing their performance for this event. Directed by Grade 10 student Chloe Van Barneveld, and based on the book One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus, characters will lead us through a mystery:
“On a Tuesday afternoon, 5 students sit in a detention room. By the time detention is over, a tragic incident has taken place. Through this act, Addy, Cooper, Nate, and Bronwyn have to help discover what happened to their classmate, Simon. Many things could have occurred and they have to work together to see which one is true.”
Join us at Redeemer on February 28th to celebrate the beautiful work of our students and their love for the Arts! ~ Chole
