Some Good Information

Church Leadership Breakfast

We share the same vision that our supporting churches have, which is to cultivate character in our youth, equipping them for lives of service to God. By hosting a breakfast for Church Leaders, we had the opportunity to share the story of how we strive to do this through learning at HDCH.

Welcomed by the aroma of bacon, Pastors, Ministry Leaders, and Youth Leaders were provided the opportunity to connect or become newly acquainted with colleagues in ministry, HDCH students and the HDCH Leadership Team.  Principal Duncan Todd opened with devotions and prayer, and Owen Webb engaged the audience on the topic of Restorative Practices and how they are applied at HDCH.

We are blessed that our students can so eloquently tell the HDCH story and they capably led table discussions over breakfast and provided tours of the school, highlighting some of their favorite learning spaces and places of community.

Our Church Leader’s Breakfast is hosted annually, and here are more opportunities for us to connect with our supporting churches. Consider personally inviting your pastor or church leader to:

  • concerts and performances at HDCH and
  • Celebration of Learning
