So what’s a Maker’s Space? Students are invited to come on up Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school to explore or develop your creative side, to just play with stuff, or maybe start a hobby. A spot to relax and do things that aren’t necessarily a part of school work. All students are welcome to drop by when they have time. No commitment necessary.
In case of inclement weather
Now that we’re well into November, it seems prudent to remind you of what to do if you wake up one morning and the weather outside is frightful.
We will post cancellation notices in the following places: Edsby, CHCH TV, CHML 900 radio, Facebook, and Twitter. If there is no cancellation notice, then come on in – we’re open!
In accordance with the Immunization of School Pupils Act, Hamilton Public Health is working to ensure that they have up-to-date vaccination records for all students who attend schools in the City of Hamilton. This year, they are focussing on students born in 2001-2004.
Parents, please ensure that you have communicated your children’s vaccine history to Hamilton Public Health. Details about what and how to report are on the Hamilton Public Health website. Please note that as of September 1, 2017, there are some new requirements related to non-medical vaccine exemptions.
Any questions should be directed to Public Health. Thanks for your attention to this.
